The functionality of the Vopium iPod is completely based on Wi-Fi. By activating the Wi-Fi you can make cheap international calls, send international SMS, check balance, tell a friend, transfer balance and can buy credit. However you can also turn it off if required.
Besides activating the Wi-Fi you need to configure the settings for your iPod to use this service.
Note:
In case if you try to perform the above activities a message will appear “No internet connection”. It will indicate that you need to turn Wi-Fi on.
In the main menu screen, select Settings.
In the Settings screen, select Wi-Fi.
A Wi-Fi Networks screen appears.
Select Wi-Fi to ON.
Select Ask to Join Networks, from the available networks by turning it ON.
Note:
As you have turned your Wi-Fi on, you will view the green Vopium logo on the top of the mobile screen which is an indication that your Wi-Fi is enabled. Otherwise the logo of Vopium turns grey.
