When you are using Vopium for the first time, you need to register as a user and configure the settings. Configuring your settings allows you to make cheap international calls, send international SMS, buy credit, use the Tell a Friend feature, , use Vopium IM on mobile, check your balance and use the Live Update feature.
Open the Vopium application, press Menu and select Settings. You can view options of:
- Country - for selecting your country continue to Step 2.
- Get Setting - to get account settings, continue to Step 3.
- SMS Activation - for SMS activaion/account settings continue to Step 4.
Open the application after installation and a message will appear.
Press Yes to send the text message to Vopium server.
This request will register you and you will receive 2 text messages one containing Vopium user name and password, and the other containing the activation link.
Press the link to verify your account.
Note:
If you press No then you can send the request by Get setting in Step 3.
Country - In this you can set your desired country.
Select Country.
A list of countries appear, select your country and press Save.
Afterwards a message appears, “You have selected Denmark”.
Press Ok and your country settings will be saved.
Vopium always tries to facilitate its customers. Due to any reason if you have pressed No to the SMS request message then this option will come handy. This option will register you and you will receive two text messages one containing Vopium user name and password, and the other containing the activation link.
Press the link to verify your account.
Select Get Setting.
SMS Activation - It includes the username and password sent to you in a text message.
Select SMS Activation.
Enter the Phone number and Password sent to you in a text message.
Press Save to save your settings to proceed.
You are now ready to make cheap calls with Vopium.
