Unfortunately, your client is not using the data path for Voip. You’re calling a local gateway (from which you’re using voip for your call routing). True, this simplifies the usage, but this isn’t ground-breaking in terms of functionality.
Now, if you had given us the wifi application (and also allowed it to work over the GPRS/EDGE data path)….
