We are pleased to announce that an updated version of Vopium for Android with Wi-Fi and 3G data calling is now available in Android market. Now you can call other Vopium users, Skype users and Gtalk users for free when you are both online. Calls to all other phones are offered at very low calling rates, even if they do not have Vopium installed.
Please note that Wi-Fi and 3G calling is disabled by default. It can be enabled from “VoIP settings” in your Vopium settings. When Wi-Fi calling is disabled, international calls are made the usual way as a local call, ensuring optimal voice quality independent of your internet connection. Thereby Vopium works everywhere, also when you are not connected to Wi-Fi.
Setting up an account is easy, and you can also send low cost international text messages and chat with your Facebook friends and contacts on Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ and Twitter.
Vopium is already very popular among Android users and is downloaded more than 1,000 times every day from Android Market. Vopium was even elected Essential Android App 2010 by the major tech site CNET UK.
If you are not already a Vopium user, here you can get started with Vopium
